Qualifications

• Education: Secondary School (preferred)
• Automotive Industry: 3 years and up (5 years and up strongly preferred)
• Class 5 Driver's License (Required)
• Red Seal Automotive Technician License (Strongly preferred)
• Customer Service Experience is an asset
• A positive outlook, a "can-do" attitude, and a customer-focused approach
• Should possess their own repair tools
• Ability to commute/relocate: Coquitlam, BC V3B 1A3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Description/Duties

• Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles, and test automotive systems and components
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
• Test and adjust repaired systems to the manufacturer's specifications
• Perform scheduled maintenance services
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
• Review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor
