Qualifications
- Education: Completion of high school is required
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as Baker or Pastry Cook is required. If candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience, then a post-secondary certificate is required.

Job Description:
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Prepare special orders
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- Draw up production schedules
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each product meets food safety and quality controls
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Ensure that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for other shifts
- Clean kitchen areas
- Operate machinery, kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, bakewares, patry blenders or cutters and others
- Keep records related to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Participate in product development

Important information:
Flexibility in schedule is required. Candidates must have availability to work weekends and holidays. The shifts per day are as follows and will be assigned depending on the business needs:
- 5 AM to 2:00 PM
- 6 AM to 3:00 PM
- 7 AM to 4:00 PM
- 9 AM to 6:00 PM
A 30-minute unpaid lunch break will be provided as well as 2 paid healthy breaks of 15 minutes. Overtime may be required.
