Qualifications
Employment Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as Bakery Manager
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as Baker is required.

Important information:
Flexibility in schedule is required. Candidates must have availability to work weekends and holidays. The shifts per day are as follows and will be assigned depending on the business needs:
- 5 AM to 2:00 PM
- 6 AM to 3:00 PM
- 7 AM to 4:00 PM
- 9 AM to 6:00 PM
A 30-minute unpaid lunch break will be provided as well as 2 paid healthy breaks of 15 minutes. Overtime may be required.

Job Description:
- Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of the Bakery Department
- Manage staff and assign duties
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
- Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale
- Develop and implement marketing strategies
- Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
- Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
- Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff
- Order materials, equipment and supplies
- Oversea the baking of mixed dough and batters
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Draw up production schedules
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Keep records related to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
