Monday to Friday – 7:30am - 4:00pm

Job Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor of Roads & Fleet, this is skilled mechanical work at the journeyman level in the repair and maintenance of automotive and related equipment in the field and shop.

Required Qualifications
Current and valid Certificate of Trades Qualification in Commercial, Heavy Duty or Automotive. Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) Certification.
Possession of a valid Class 3 BC Drivers Licence with air endorsement for highway vehicles and good driving record.
Three (3) years job-related hands-on experience in the overhaul and adjustment of automotive, construction and maintenance equipment in a local government environment.

OR an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
