Monthly Salary Range: MoveUp Group 08, MIN $5,419.00 - MAX $6,497.00 is available through annual general wage/step increases.
Recruitment Range: MIN $5,419 – STEP 3 $6,008
Placement in the salary range is determined by an assessment of knowledge, skills, experience and ability of the candidate to meet the key requirements of the job. In exceptional cases, candidates may be hired above the recruitment range, provided agreement is reached with the Union.

What you'll be doing...
In this role you will have the opportunity to coordinate materials and logistics for Supply Services to ensure that replacement parts are available for maintenance and repair work. As such you play a key role in assuring the ready access to the products and services required to keep our provincial fleet moving.
You will work in conjunction with other groups within the Fleet Division to ensure that required parts are available for the smooth commencement of scheduled work and that related tasks are completed in an effective manner.
You will have the opportunity to make recommendations for improvements to procedures, contract terms and the feasibility of purchasing alternative products and assist with the creation and maintenance of material and inventory master records.
In addition you will perform a variety of duties related to coordinating the testing of new vehicle maintenance products and monitor maintenance material inventories.

What you'll bring to the table...
- A general technical background equivalent to high school graduation, including courses related to commercial vehicle mechanics and mechanical drafting
- Three (3) years previous experience, working in a computerized commercial vehicle maintenance and repair environment as a parts or stockroom person.
