As the Mechanic Shop Foreman, you're at the helm of a crucial operation, managing a team responsible for the upkeep of a diverse range of vehicles and equipment. From fleet cars to specialized firefighting apparatus, your role is pivotal in ensuring everything runs smoothly. You plan, organize, and supervise the repair and maintenance activities, both in the central facility and in the field. It's a hands-on job that demands both technical expertise and leadership skills. Your focus is on efficiency, making sure resources are allocated effectively and work is completed to high standards. It's a challenging yet rewarding role where every day brings new opportunities to make a tangible impact on the City's operations.
Qualifications
- Trade Ticket - Heavy Duty, Automotive or Commercial Vehicle Mechanic.
