• Red Seal or equivalent certification required.
• Positive attitude and a team player mindset.
• Licensed to complete Safety Inspections or obtain accreditation is preferred.
• Proficiency in various vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components for diagnostic of issues.
• Perform automotive repairs including, but not limited to, front-end, engine repair, tune-ups, brake systems, transmission, oil changes.
• Review all repairs with Service advisor or General Manager prior to executing repairs
• Assist other team members with repairs/maintenance, as required.
• Oversee any apprentices that may be working under you, share your knowledge, skills and report to GM on a bi-monthly timeline of their progress.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Dispose of used items in appropriate recycling areas and notify Shop Manager/Owner when removal is required.
• Collaborate effectively with our team to uphold our commitment to excellence in automotive service.
• Provide explanation and diagnosis of repairs needed directly with the customer when requested.
• Ensure customer vehicle is kept clean and free from any damages while in our possession.
• Take ownership of your repairs and strive to ensure all necessary components are completed to ensure customer satisfaction and zero return-defects.
